The Supply Chain Coördinator, who is the main contact for our partners around the world, makes sure our deals with suppliers are handled well. This involves getting transportation ready and set up. The job has a lot of different tasks and can be tough because things move fast and can get complicated. We're looking for someone who is eager, thinks ahead, and is good at solving problems, who also likes to work out the details of shipping goods across countries. It also includes:
- Makes sure buying deals are done right and smoothly.
- Helps teammates (from your own and different teams) with questions about customs, rules in different countries, export papers, and any changes in how we get things from one place to another.
- Keeps all important papers in order.
- Sends out bills.
- Helps customers, keeps a good relationship with them for a long time, and tries to make these relationships better.
- Deals with small issues and complaints.
- Stays in touch with people and companies outside of ours, like banks and animal health services in various countries, based on what our agreements say.
